Distractions

Sometimes a distraction is a good way to overcome feelings and thoughts that can be overwhelming. Everyone is different, but some of the ideas listed below may help you to distract yourself for a while.

Remember, what works for one person may not work for another. It's important to find strategies that work best for you

Call for Help

Please be aware that whilst we are a site that helps with depression, we are peer to peer support only. We do not have the capabilities to handle an emergency or crisis situation. Many of our users also experience depression and other mental health issues, and may be triggered.

Please note: we take no responsibility for any offsite links or phone numbers.

We ask that you contact your local emergency services or crisis center for help if you are experiencing feelings or thoughts or self-harm or suicide or you feel that you are in imminent danger.
